- Coordinate engineering design, production, and AIT across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Manage system requirements, RF budgets, interface definitions, and verification plans.
- Own the technical program schedule, risk register, and cost control across all project phases.
- Define and support test campaigns for functional, RF, and environmental qualification.
- Ensure compliance with applicable space standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, IPC, etc.) and mission-specific requirements.
- Act as the primary technical interface to subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to payload architecture decisions and lead subsystem-level trade-offs.
- Report progress and critical issues to technical and executive leadership with clarity and rigor.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
- Master's or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in space systems engineering or technical program management roles.
- Hands-on experience in the development of RF/telecom payloads for LEO or GEO missions, including SDRs and/or phased arrays.
- Strong knowledge of MAIT processes and space qualification for electronic and RF equipment.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs across engineering, industrial, and supply chain domains.
- Solid understanding of satellite communication systems and high data rate payload architecture.
- Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, IPC-A-610/620, MIL-STD-1540).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- EU or NATO-friendly citizenship is preferred due to export control constraints.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in New Space constellations and high-volume manufacturing of telecom payloads.
- Knowledge of digital beamforming, adaptive antennas, or Ka/Ku band technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe in hardware development environments.
- Exposure to both technical execution and commercial program management.
What We Offer:
- A front-row seat to shape the future of high-throughput space communications.
- A passionate, multidisciplinary team working at the frontier of New Space.
- Growth opportunities in a fast-scaling international environment.
We're looking for curious, creative, tenacious and collaborative people, eager to do things and unafraid to tackle challenges in order to contribute to improving the society in wich we live.
