In ARQUIMEA ADVANCED SYSTEMS we produce high performance mechanical and electromechanical equipment. We have high engineering and manufacturing capabilities and decades of experience collaborating with the main companies in the sector.

We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer to oversee outsourcing management, supplier selection, and delivery tracking to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.

Tasks to be performed: 

• Identify, negotiate, and manage outsourced manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with technical, quality, and deadline requirements.
• Communicate and update production priorities with suppliers, tracking progress weekly to guarantee on-time delivery.
• Develop or collaborate with the technical team to create outsourcing roadmaps, outlining all necessary requirements.
• Analyze supplier proposals from both technical and cost perspectives to support decision-making.
• Improve outsourcing quality by conducting supplier visits and on-site verifications when necessary.
• Review and validate supplier documentation to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Identify and assess supplier-related risks, implementing mitigation strategies when needed.

Required skills, experience and candidate profile: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing plans.
• 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (C1 level or higher).

The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
