In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.

We are looking for a Project Manager with the mission to coordinate the complete life of the projects assigned: planning, execution, and closure.

Tasks to be performed: 

• Take full ownership of assigned projects, overseeing their entire lifecycle from planning, execution, to closure.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to company quality standards and procedures.
• Define project scopes and objectives, engaging all key stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility as well as effective risk management.
• Manage project communications, maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders such as subcontractors, partners, and customers.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Utilize appropriate verification methods to track and control changes in project scope, timeline, and costs.
• Provide regular reports and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required skills, experience and candidate profile: 

• University degree in Engineering. Specialization in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Relevant experience (more than 4 years) managing engineering projects.
• Experience in Defense sector projects is desirable.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMI methodologies). PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Proficient in MS Project. Experience in Project Server is desirable.
• Proactive, autonomous and team player.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
• Proficient in English.
• Eligible to work in the EU.

The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
