SAP Functional Analyst (Manufacturing)
If you are passionate about technology and want to take on new challenges to help improve the society we live in, this is your opportunity!
ARQUIMEA, we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.
Our areas of activity are Aerospace, Defense & Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech.
Main function and scope:
Act as Arquimea’s internal functional owner for SAP manufacturing execution and planning: PP, PP/DS, SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) and Quality Management (QM). Ensure robust shopfloor execution, finite planning governance, quality gates (blocking controls), rework management, and traceability, aligned to Arquimea’s project/prototype manufacturing model.
Key Functions:
Business process ownership (Fit-to-Standard)
Lead To-Be design for production execution, shopfloor capture, planning and scheduling, quality gates, rework loops, and traceability requirements.
Drive fit-to-standard decisions; document required extensions with clear business value and testability.
Manufacturing execution (PP + DM)
Validate design for production orders: creation/release, confirmations, goods issue/backflush rules, time capture, downtime/exceptions.
Specify DM POD requirements (operator workflows, scans/validations, document capture rules, exception handling, user experience).
Finite planning (PP/DS)
Define planning governance: constraints, sequencing approach, heuristics/optimizer strategy, what-if scenarios, replanning cadence, freeze windows, priority rules (including project-driven priorities as defined by business).
Finite planning shall be carried out in Dassault Delmia Ortems, so experience with this software and its relations with SAP will be valuable.
Validate work center calendars, capacity models, and master data discipline required for PP/DS success.
Quality (QM)
Define and validate inspection strategy (incoming/in-process/final), stock statuses, blocking rules, release processes, nonconformance handling and rework integration.
Ensure traceability and audit readiness (inspection results, approvals, attachments, release evidence).
Cross-functional interfaces
Interface with functional analyst for Finance for FI/CO and PS impacts (WIP/settlement touchpoints, project assignment rules, reporting requirements).
Interface with EWM for staging/picking and shopfloor replenishment, and with PLM integration streams (BOM/routing governance).
Testing, cutover, and stabilization
Own UAT scripts for manufacturing planning/execution and quality; lead defect triage and acceptance sign-off.
Validate readiness of master data (BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection plans) and migration of in-flight orders if required.
Hypercare stabilization on shopfloor execution, planning stability and quality blocking workflows.
Required candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Information Systems.
Desirable: specialization in Manufacturing Systems (MES), Planning/Scheduling (Delmia Ortems is valuable), or Quality Systems.
Specific Knowledge Required
SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge in:
PP (production orders, confirmations, consumption)
QM (inspections, stock statuses, quality gates)
PP/DS (finite scheduling)
SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM)
Ability to translate shopfloor reality into standard SAP execution patterns, ensuring traceability and auditability.
Strong analytical approach to master data quality (BOM/routing/work center discipline).
Minimum Experience Required
5+ years in SAP functional roles (S/4HANA preferred).
At least one full-cycle implementation (blueprint to go-live/hypercare).
PP/DS and/or DM hands-on exposure strongly preferred given the roadmap.
We're looking for curious, creative, tenacious and collaborative people, eager to do things and unafraid to tackle challenges in order to contribute to improving the society in wich we live.
