Meet Cristian Zárate Merino, Systems Production Engineer, who started his working career at ARQUIMEA in our Young Talents program.

“Hello everyone. My name is Cristian Zárate and I studied Mechanical Engineering. I remember my first day at ARQUIMEA more than 10 years ago. I was still studying at university, but I was eager to work, to dedicate myself to what I had been training for, for so long.   

I joined the company as part of the Young Talents program, and the truth is that I could not have fallen into better hands. At that time there were very few of us at ARQUIMEA, but the good atmosphere, the learning, the attitude, the desire to help our colleagues and to conclude the work with the best possible result quickly became contagious. We always work as one, which makes the team united and strong.  

The road to get to where I am has not always been easy, everything has taken time and dedication, but thanks to the trust and opportunities for growth that ARQUIMEA has provided me, I have been able to work in an endless number of projects in the multiple sectors to which the company is dedicated.   

I started drawing plans for different projects, but soon I began to make my first CAD designs according to the requirements specifications. After several years, I was entrusted with the management and direction of projects, which allowed me to increase my perspective on all the areas, clients and departments that are necessary for the daily activity of a company.  

ARQUIMEA has allowed me to develop my skills and never stagnate, there is always something new to learn, a new challenge or problem to solve. Today I can proudly say that I am one of the people responsible for the company's largest program in its history.  

I would also like to highlight the friends I have made during this long period, many of them have already become family, just like ARQUIMEA, which is part of me, and I try to give back daily everything it has given me during all these years.”
