Meet Laura Jiménez Sánchez,  Junior Mechanical Engineer, who started her career at ARQUIMEA in our Young Talents programme.

‘Hi, I'm Laura Jiménez, and I studied Automotive Engineering and later Mechanical Engineering. I started working at ARQUIMEA almost two years ago, as part of its Young Talents programme.

I was still studying, so I started as an intern with an internship contract in mechanical design with a lot of enthusiasm and desire to learn. I remember that the first few months consisted of adapting to the team's way of working and discovering that I had a lot to learn, but thanks to the collaborative environment among my colleagues, I was able to progress and take on greater and greater challenges and responsibilities.

The programme not only allowed me to delve deeper into mechanical design, but also opened the door to explore other areas such as manufacturing. Thanks to the trust they placed in me, I am currently working at ARQUIMEA as a Junior Mechanical Engineer.

My time at ARQUIMEA has allowed me to grow personally and professionally, thanks to a business philosophy that encourages innovation, teamwork and continuous growth’.
